TheMarch 1, 2026, marked a truly special day in Philippine showbiz as beloved couple Kim Molina and Jerald Napoles finally tied the knot in a breathtaking beach wedding at the luxurious Amorita Resort in Panglao, Bohol. Their highly anticipated nuptials culminated a decade-long love story, captivating fans and fellow celebrities alike with its enchanting setting, emotional vows, and signature touches of the couple's infectious humor. [1, 2]
The intimate yet star-studded ceremony, held against the stunning backdrop of Bohol's pristine shores and overlooking the serene Bohol Sea, was a celebration of enduring love, partnership, and the unique bond that has endeared 'KimJe' to millions across the country.
Kim Molina and Jerald Napoles' journey to 'I do' is a testament to a love that blossomed from the stage and endured through life's many acts. Their story began in 2012, or as some sources suggest, 2014, when they first met as performers in the critically acclaimed musical 'Rak of Aegis.' What started as a professional connection soon evolved into a deep friendship and ultimately, a romance that they publicly confirmed in 2019. [2, 7]
Their relationship has been characterized by its authenticity and relatability, facing challenges like any other couple, including three reported breakups from which they always found their way back to each other. This resilience only deepened the connection they share, which Kim attributes to their ability to connect 'with everything' despite an eight-year age gap (Kim, 33, and Jerald, 41, as of February 2026). [9, 12] Jerald once humorously remarked on Kim, 'Masarap kasi si Kim…kasama!' highlighting the joy and companionship at the core of their bond. [10]
The proposal itself was a moment of theatrical brilliance, befitting two celebrated stage actors. On August 11, 2024, Jerald got down on one knee at the PETA Theater Center in Quezon City – the very place where their love story first began. [1, 2] It was a carefully planned moment, arriving after four previous attempts at proposing had fallen through, proving that persistence pays off in love as much as in performance. [13]
For their momentous occasion, Kim and Jerald chose Bohol, an island province renowned for its stunning natural beauty and as a premier destination for luxury weddings in the Philippines. The Amorita Resort in Panglao, with its elegant cliffside setting offering panoramic views of the Bohol Sea, provided a truly idyllic backdrop for their union. [2, 4]
Bohol's allure as a wedding destination extends beyond its picturesque landscapes. The island boasts dazzling white beaches, excellent infrastructure, and convenient accessibility, thanks to the world-class Bohol-Panglao International Airport. [14, 15] This ensures that guests, whether local or international, can easily partake in the celebration. Moreover, Bohol is home to a thriving community of world-class wedding suppliers, from designers to florists and photographers, ensuring that every detail of a dream wedding can be brought to life locally. [15]
The choice of Bohol perfectly complemented the couple's pre-wedding narrative, as the island also served as the magical setting for Kim's viral pre-wedding film, 'A Mermaid's Dream,' shot in October 2025.
The wedding ceremony itself was a heartfelt spectacle, filled with moments that captured the essence of Kim and Jerald's relationship. Kim Molina was a radiant vision in a sophisticated tube wedding gown by acclaimed Filipino designer Mak Tumang. The dress, featuring a serpentina silhouette and a high slit, exuded modern elegance perfectly suited for a beach ceremony. [3, 4] Jerald, equally dapper, donned a white suit jacket and black pants from Rau Homme, or a white tuxedo by Maureen Reeca Cruz, eagerly awaiting his bride. [4, 6]
An emotional highlight captured in a clip shared by Kim was her walk down the aisle, with her parents visibly moved. 'Lord, this is it. Thank you, Lord,' Kim was heard mumbling, reflecting the profound gratitude and joy of the moment. [1, 3] Jerald, too, was seen with a wide smile, wiping away a tear as he greeted Kim's parents before escorting his bride, underscoring the deep emotion of the occasion. [3]
The couple, known for their playful dynamic, also injected their signature humor into the celebration. A memorable moment at the reception saw Kim playfully being affectionate with actors Alden Richards and Gerald Anderson, jokingly referencing the 'Kimerald' love team moniker, much to the amusement of their guests. [4, 16] The celebration also featured a duet performance by the newlyweds and a dramatic fireworks display, creating a truly unforgettable evening. [4]
A special touch to the chosen date, March 1st, was its proximity to Jerald's birthday on March 2nd, making the entire weekend a double celebration of love and life.
The wedding was a grand reunion for many of their friends and colleagues from the entertainment industry, reflecting the couple's widespread respect and affection within showbiz. The guest list was truly star-studded, transforming the intimate gathering into a significant industry event. [2, 3]

For Kim, a certified freediver, her dream was brought to life in the stunning pre-wedding film 'A Mermaid's Dream.' Shot in Bohol in October 2025, the video featured Kim as a mesmerizing mermaid and Jerald as her freediver counterpart. Kim herself conceptualized the film, even incorporating a vertical Baybayin tattoo of her mermaid tail's name, 'Hiraya,' into the design. [1]
